Exploring different ways to use one and the same product is so much fun. After I tried various methods on how to use coconut oil in my daily beauty routine I’m ready to try a new product: baby powder.
In todays post I will show you 5 ways to use baby powder in your beauty routine:
1. Use baby powder as dry shampoo
You ran out of dry shampoo? No problem! Thanks to the absorbing nature of baby powder, it’s a great alternative for dry shampoo. Just sprinkle a little powder on your hair line, rub your hair with a towel or your finger tips and brush out the powder . (I don’t know how this hack works on very dark/black hair, but it definitely works for my light brown hair).
2. Use baby powder to give your lashes volume
You want your lashes to look more voluminous? The dust a tiny amount of baby powder on your lashes between the first and the second layer using a tiny brush. It’ll make your lashes look fuller and give you a sort of false lash effect.
3. Use baby powder as face powder
With a large powder brush you can use baby powder to set your foundation once you finished your makeup. To keep it as translucent as possible (we don’t want it to look white and chalky), be careful and don’t use too much product.
4. Use baby powder as aftershave
To soothe and cool your legs or bikini area after shaving you can rub a little bit of baby powder to the freshly shaven areas. It feels great and makes the skin feel soft and less irritated.
5. Use baby powder to prevent chafing
Especially during the hotter months, when we’re wearing dresses without tights, chafing between the tights can really become a hurting problem (if don’t know this problem, lucky you). To prevent rubbing try to apply some baby powder between your tights. Another alternative I can recommend is to apply a little bit of deodorant stick!
Have you tried any of these beauty hacks? How do you use baby powder?
