You’re lusting for a drugstore refill palettes stystem? Then you might want to have a closer look at the new essence my must haves palette system, which got launched very recently It offers two different palettes for either four or 8eight products. What I really like: besides a lot of eyeshadows essence also offers blushes, a powder, a highlighter, a bronzer and even lip products for the palettes. Pretty cool, right? Of course I couldn’t resist and created my own little palette feat. these 4 natural eyeshadows:

The pigmentation of the 4 eyeshadows is great … especially the shimmery shade «03 miss foxy roxy» blew me away. The eyeshadows apply pretty easy and wear for about 8-9 hours with my current eyeshadow base (Smashbox «24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer»). I think the whole system is definitely worth a closer look, especially with those unbeatable prices: 1,45 Euro per eyeshadow and 1,45/1,95 Euro for the small and big palette. Pretty good deal, right? I’m definitely gonna have a closer look at the other shades! Let’s hope essence is going to expand the range little by little!

Die Pigmentierung der vier Lidschatten ist toll … ganz besonders der schimmernde Ton «03 miss foxy roxy» hat mich aus den Socken gehauen! Die Lidschatten lassen sich gut auftragen und halten mit meiner derzeitigen Base (Smashbox «24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer») gute 8-9 Stunden. Für den unschlagbaren Preis von 1.45 Euro pro Lidschatten und 1,45 Euro bzw. 1,95 Euro für die Leerpaletten echt einen Blick wert! Ich werd mir bestimmt noch die eine oder andere Farbe holen und hoffe, essence wird das Sortiment nach und nach weiter ausbauen!

Omg ladies, look at the cute Balea Sweet Lips Set I just found at the drugstore! Aren’t the Macarons shapes balms adorable?! A true collectible for a beauty junkie like me And don’t you think these balms would make great gifts?
The cute little set comes with three lip balms (3 x 10ml), each with an individual scent: the mint one is «coconut», the yellow one «vanilla» and the pink one is «raspberry». What I personally like is that the scents of the Balea Sweet Lips are quite subtle. Out of the three I’d say raspberry is the most intense and realistic one (similair to the Labello «Raspberry Rosé» balm).

All three lip balms contain bees wax and oil won from the seeds of the castor oil plant. They’re great for a little care every now and then. But if you’re struggling with really dry lips I think you might want something thicker.
The set costs 5,95 Euro and is available at «dm-drogerie markt».

Omg Mädels, seht Euch mal dieses unglaublich süsse Balea Sweet Lips Set an, das ich kürzlich bei dm entdeckt habe! Sind die Macarons Balms nicht zum Dahinschmelzen?! Ein Must-Have für einen Beauty-Junkie wie mich  Die Balms würden sich übrigens auch toll als Geschenk für eine Freundin oder die Mama machen, meint Ihr nicht auch? Das bezaubernde Set enthält drei Töpfchen mit je 10 ml Inhalt, jedes mit einem individuellen Duft. Mint ist «Cocos», gelb «Vanille» und rosa «Himbeere». Was mir gut gefällt: Die Düfte sind eher dezent. Von allen drei Duftrichtungen ist Himbeere am intensivsten (duftet ähnlich wie der Labello «Raspberry Rosé» Balm).

Alle drei Lip Balms enthalten Bienenwachs und Öl aus den Samen des Wunderbaums und haben wie ich finde eine angenehme Konsistenz. Was die Pflegeleistung angeht, würde ich bei stark trockenen Lippen zu einem anderen Produkt greifen – für zwischendurch oder unterwegs tun sie es aber alle Mal!
Erhältlich sind die Balea Sweet Lips bei dm drogerie markt für 5,95 Euro/Set.

Tolle Neuigkeiten für alle «The Body Shop» Fans: Die neue The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey Hautpflege-Reihe ist da … und sie hat mein Herz im Sturm erobert. (Zur Info: Ich habe die Reihe bisher nur in der Schweiz gesichtet). Die Almond Milk & Honey Produkte machen nicht nur optisch was her, sie duften ausserdem herrlich: honigsüss (aber nicht zu süss) und irgendwie cremig … ein bisschen wie eine Tasse heisse Milch mit Honig! Ein toller, «kuschliger» Duft, um abends zu entspannen!

Denn, die matte Fortführung der Pop Lip Color + Primer Reihe überzeugt mit intensiven, matten Farben, einer überraschend cremigen und angenehmen Textur und einer wunderschönen Verpackung. Ich für meine Teil bin definitiv ein Fan der Pop Matte Lippenstifte!

Während so manch matter Lippenstift sich im Auftrag zickig und trocken zeigt, gleiten diese Schätzchen mühelos über die Lippen und sind dank der cremigen Textur im Handumdrehen aufgetragen. Was ich an den Pop Matte Lippenstiften besonders mag: Sie bleiben cremig! Natürlich trocknen auch sie im Laufe der Zeit etwas an, das Gefühl auf den Lippen ist aber stets angenehm und nie trocken oder bröselig. Übrigens halten die Farben trotz der cremigen Textur gute 4 Stunden – besonders die kräftigeren Nuancen machen einiges mit.

Da der Valentinstag unmittelbar bevorsteht, sei vielleicht noch erwähnt: Die Lippenstifte sind (leider) nicht kussfest

Keratin kennen wir ja sonst eher aus der Haarpflege – dank der neuen Sally Hansen Keratin Strong Reihe dürfen sich jetzt auch unsere Nägel freuen! Denn: die Nagel-Marke aus Amerika hat ihre Nagellack-Formel verbessert. Der neu enthaltene Keratin Komplex soll die Nägel stärken und dafür sorgen, dass die Nägel weniger schnell abbrechen. Und damit nicht genug: Die Maniküre soll bis zu 10 Tage halten.

Unter- und Überlack sind im Nagellack «integriert» – für die komplette Maniküre wird also nur ein einziges Produkt benötigt.  Zugegeben, da bin ich immer etwas kritisch: Werden die Nägel nicht verfärbt? Hält die Maniküre wirklich? Lasst es uns testen!
Die Lacke haben eine Textur, die sich gut auftragen lässt. Ganz besonders begeistert bin ich vom Pinsel: Er ist etwas kürzer und besitzt eine angenehme Breite. Dadurch hab ich eine gute Kontrolle und der Lack lässt sich präzise auftragen. Für ein deckendes Farbergebnis, benötigen alle drei Lacke mindestens zwei Schichten. Was den Glanz betrifft, so ist er ok – für meinen Geschmack könnte der Gel-Look aber ruhig noch intensiver sein!

Die Haltbarkeit auf meinen doch etwas schwierigen Nägeln lag bei vier Tagen; zu Verfärbungen der Nägel kam es nicht. Bei der nächsten Maniküre werde ich es mal mit mit einer Schicht Überlack probieren – ich bin sicher, dadurch lässt sich die Haltbarkeit deutlich verlängern! (Kleiner Tipp: Beim Thema Unter- und Überlack schwöre ich auf die essence «the gel nail polish» Base Und Top Coat Kombi!) Ob die Keratin Strong Lacke meine Nägel stärker machen, vermag ich bei meinen doch eher kräftigen Nägeln nicht zu beurteilen;)

Usually we talk about Keratin when it comes to hair care. Thanks to the new Sally Hansen Keratin Strong nail polishes, our nails can enjoy the benefits of Keratin as well. The American nail polish brand has improved their formula: The new Keratin Complex is supposed to make your nails stronger and prevent them from breaking and splitting. Furthermore: Sally Hansen says the manicure can last up till 10 days.

Since the base and top coat are integrated in the nail polish, you only need one product for the whole manicure. As for me I’m always a little skeptical, when it comes to «all-in-one» products: Isn’t the nail polish going to discolor my nails? And what about the lasting power? Let’s find out!
The nail polishes have a nice texture, which makes the application easy. I’m especially thrilled about the brush. It’s quite short and but still wide, which gives you lot of control. All three shades need at least 2 layers for a good coverage. They have nice shine – but in my opinion the gel look could be more intense!

On my quite «difficult» nails the polish lasted for about 4 day. Although I wore the darkest shade I didn’t notice any discolorations of my nails. Next time I’m gonna try them with a top coat. I’m sure that would really make them last a long time! (Quick tip: When it comes to base and top coat I swear on the essence «the gel nail polish» base and top coat). Since my nails are quite strong anyway I find it hard to judge, whether or not the nail polish had an effect on the strength of my nails.
