Over the last two year I’ve become a huge fan of cream eyeshadows used as an eyeshadow base! My two favourites are definitely MAC’s „Painterly“ Paint Pot and the Maybelline „35 On and On Bronze“ Color Tattoo! Recently I discovered the new launched Kiko Cream Crush Lasting Colour Eyeshadows and of course I got curious!
Kiko Cream Crush Lasting Colour Eyeshadow
The whole range contains 16 pretty shades. I went for 3 of them: 03 Mat Light Mahagony, 04 Mat Taupe and 01 Pearly Vintage Rose. Out of these 3 shades I’m especially into the matte tones, since most of my cream eyeshadows are shimmery, but not matte;)
The eye shadows have a really interesting texture, which is sort of bouncy (like some cream blushes are), but easy to work with: easy to apply with a very good pigmentation.
Worn as the only base with a powdery eyeshadow on top it lasts for about 7 till 8 hours (on my eyelid). Combined with another eyeshadow base like the Too Faced „Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer“ and a powder eyeshadow it lasts up till 13 hours! (That’s how I usually wear it).
I’m really happy with the shades I got and with their performance! I might have a look at the other mat shades as well;)
Have you already seen and tried them? How do you like the Kiko Cream Crush Lasting Colour Eyeshadow?
