As you may know from the various pictures I post on Facebook and from my Filofax hauls: I love to decorate my planner pages with cute Washi Tape («paper tape») and stickers. But the decorative tapes are not only great to personalize your planner. Washi Tape can be used in various other cool ways. Today I want to share a few ideas with you and show you 3 ways to use the decorative tape. Enjoy!
How to use Washi Tape: Straw Labels
Who doesn’t know that problem… you’re at a party and you set your glass on the table and 5 minutes after your glass is surrounded by 5 other glasses and you’re not sure which one used to be yours. To UMGEHEN this problem you can either name the glasses (if they’re paper cups) with an edding pen or you use a little bit of washi tape to create cute labels for the straws. It’s super easy, looks pretty and festive and it makes sure you and your guests know which glass belongs to whom;)
How to use Washi Tape: Pimp your candle(holder)
The days are getting shorter again and we long for cozy moments at home with a hot cup of tea and lovely candles. With Washi Tape you can easily individualize and pimp simple glass candle holders or the candles themselves. You can either paste the whole glass or just add a few «stripes». Since Washi Tape is very easy to remove again, it’s no problem to change the look of the holders after a while. I’m already looking forward to decorating my glasses with festive Christmas Washi Tape;)
How to use Washi Tape: Personalized (birthday) cards
Of course you can not only use Washi Tape to decorate agenda pages. The tape’s also perfect to create individual and personalized cards for birthdays or maybe for Christmas? I tried out a few versions, just to give you an idea.
How do you like my ideas? Do you have other creative Washi Tape ideas?
